Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (18:45 - 07:15). Weekends required.

Assignment Details

Facility has 26 beds, is a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and accredited in STEMI care. Unit accepts first-time travelers. Contract details available upon request.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required by submission.
• Experience in an emergency room setting preferred.
• Charting experience with Epic.
• Must adhere to a 50-mile radius rule; local candidates not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the emergency setting.
• Assess patient conditions and administer appropriate treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient status.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
