Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule

Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30)

Assignment Details

36 or 48 hour options available. Minimum of 1 year of experience required. Unit accepts first-time travelers.

Requirements

• BLS Certification
• Experience with Epic charting
• Patient Ratios: 1:6
• Float required to units of equal or lesser acuity
• 50-mile radius rule; local candidates not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to medical/surgical patients
• Monitor patients' vital signs and symptoms
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members
• Assist in patient discharge planning
• Document patient care in accordance with facility policies
