Registered Nurse – Critical Care

Schedule

12-hour night shifts; 1900-0730, three shifts per week.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Contract length: 13 weeks.

Requirements

• 2 years of recent Critical Care/ICU or Emergency Department experience.
• Current RN license with BLS, ACLS certifications.
• Experience with BiPAP, chest tubes, PICC lines, and drawing labs.
• Comfortable without a vascular access team and conducting own consults/codes.
• Open-heart experience preferred.
• Ability to float to ICU and all inpatient units.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Monitor patient conditions and make critical decisions regarding care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and care provided.
• Assist in the preparation and administration of medications and treatments.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans.
