Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

**TITLE** Registered Nurse – Peri-Anesthesia **SCHEDULE** Days, 8 hours shifts **ASSIGNMENT DETAILS** Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week **REQUIREMENTS** - 3 years PACU experience - BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications **ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES** - Assume responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during the peri-anesthesia continuum. - Conduct thorough assessments and data collection to inform the development of individualized care plans. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement comprehensive treatment plans. - Communicate effectively with the anesthesia team regarding patient assessments and potential issues. - Provide care to patients transitioning from Phase I to Phase II post-anesthesia based on established standards. - Ensure effective intervention to meet patients’ physical, psychological, educational, sociocultural, and spiritual needs. **COMPLIANCE / NOTES** - On-call response time within 30 minutes required. - All RTO requests must be included at the time of submittal; requests may not be honored after submission.
