Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

**Title** Registered Nurse - Telemetry **Schedule** 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12 Hour Nights) Every Other Weekend **Assignment Details** Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 **Requirements** - 2+ Years of Experience - Active Ohio or Compact RN License - Active American Heart Association BLS - Active American Heart Association ACLS - Competency with Cardiac medications and knowledge of titration - Competency in telemetry with knowledge of heart rhythms - Critical thinking skills and ability to recognize changes in patient status - Knowledge of signs/symptoms of stroke **Roles & Responsibilities** - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using age-specific criteria. - Collaborate with and direct non-RN staff including LPNs and PCTs. - Monitor and interpret telemetry data, recognizing and responding to cardiac rhythms. - Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans. - Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure quality standards are met. - Provide emergency interventions as necessary, utilizing critical care knowledge.
