**Title** Operating Room Registered Nurse – Operating Room **Schedule** 10 Hour Days **Assignment Details** Contract Weeks: 13 **Requirements** - Active RN license - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS - Experience in Pre-Op, Operating Room, and PACU - Preferred experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, and Ophthalmology - Ability to participate in a variable on-call rotation **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide comprehensive patient care throughout the perioperative continuum, including Pre-Op, Operating Room, and PACU settings. - Assist with various surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring patient safety. - Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Administer medications and monitor patients during the perioperative process. - Educate patients and families on recovery and postoperative care. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to infection control protocols. **Compliance / Notes** - All onboarding requirements must be completed 2 weeks prior to start.
