Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

**Title** Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical **Schedule** Shift: 3x12-hour nights Weekend coverage required **Requirements** - 2 years of RN experience preferred - Travel experience required - State or Compact license in hand at time of submittal - Certifications: ACLS, BLS - Experience with tele/medical-surgical settings - Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation/management - Capability to manage cardiac drips (no titration) - Non-invasive airway management skills - Peripheral line care/management - Knowledge of isolation precautions and personal protective equipment **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatric patients with various diagnoses. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care. - Monitor vital signs and manage patient assessments and care plans. - Administer medications and treatments as ordered. - Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention. **Compliance / Notes** - Pre-approved time off: 1 day must be listed at submittal - Orientation: 12 hours, including 4-6 hours of RN modules onsite (non-billable) - Vaccine status: COVID-19 and flu vaccines unknown
