Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Schedule

Days: 7 AM – 7 PM. Schedule follows a 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off pattern, with every other weekend required.

Assignment Details

Initial contract length is 4 weeks, with potential for extensions. Immediate availability to start upon clearance is preferred.

Requirements

• Active TX or multistate nursing license
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Patient-to-nurse ratio is 4:1

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and clinical assessments
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on health management and care
• Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients
