Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical Oncology

Schedule

3x12-Hour Shifts, Variable Shift

Assignment Details

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 60 Hours per 2 weeks

Requirements

• AK RN license required within 48 hours of signing
• BLS certification
• ONS/ONCC certification
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Chemo Administration Experience
• Experience with Epic EMR system

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in a medical surgical oncology setting
• Administer chemotherapy and manage side effects
• Monitor patient status and respond to changing needs
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
