Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Shifts: 3x12 or 4x12 Nights. Weekend requirements: Yes, every other weekend.

Assignment Details

Assignment Length: 13 or 26 weeks. Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Alaska required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRP.
• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• Charge experience preferred or willing to train as charge.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in labor and delivery.
• Monitor patients and assess their needs during childbirth.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Conduct triage assessments and coordinate care for antepartum and postpartum patients.
