Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Shift: 3x12 or 4x12 Nights. Weekend requirements: Yes, every other.

Assignment Details

Assignment Length: 13 or 26 weeks. Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks.

Requirements

• AK RN license required.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRP.
• 1 year of experience required; first timers accepted.
• Charge experience preferred or willing to train as charge.
• EMR system: Epic.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in a labor and delivery unit.
• Monitor prenatal patients, laboring mothers, and newborns.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and handle emergencies.
• Utilize clinical skills to support mothers during the birthing process.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
