L&D RN – Charge Nurse

Schedule

Shift: 3x12 or 4x12 Nights

Assignment Details

Assignment Length: 13 or 26 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 60 Hours per 2 weeks

Requirements

• AK RN license in hand for Auto Offer
• Years of Experience: 1
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRP
• Charge Nurse experience preferred or willing to train for Charge Nurse position

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate patient care in the labor and delivery unit.
• Supervise nursing staff and support staff in a high-risk environment.
• Provide direct patient care and develop care plans as needed.
• Assist with patient assessments and interventions.
• Ensure compliance with nursing practices and facility regulations.
• Participate in patient education and advocacy.
