L&D RN - Charge Nurse

Schedule

Shift: 3x12 or 4x12 Nights. Weekend requirement: Yes - every other. On-call requirement: No.

Assignment Details

Assignment Length: 13 or 26 weeks. Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks - traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks.

Requirements

• Active RN license in hand.
• Charge Nurse experience preferred or willing to train as charge.
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced, NRP.
• 1 year of nursing experience required.
• EMR system: Epic.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate patient care in the labor and delivery unit.
• Manage and support nursing staff and ensure delivery of high-quality care.
• Assist with patient assessments, care plans, and interventions.
• Provide patient and family education and support during labor and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures.
