Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)

Assignment Details

Contract length: Not specified. Guaranteed hours: Facility is able to call off once per two-week pay period.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience required; can consider less than 2 years depending on experience.
• Certifications required: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, NRP.
• Must have expert experience and be able to perform sterile vaginal exams independently without supervision.
• EPIC experience required.
• Must be open to working weekends, likely exceeding every other weekend to meet unit needs.
• Pending license not accepted.
• RTO must be included at the time of submission.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit.
• Perform assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with sterile vaginal exams and triage procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
• Educate patients and families about childbirth and recovery processes.
