Infection Preventionist

Schedule

Day shift, Monday to Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:30).

Assignment Details

Start date: ASAP. Guaranteed hours: subject to facility call-off once per two-week pay period.

Requirements

• Infection Prevention experience required.
• 1 year of current acute care experience required.
• CIC certification is required.
• Degree in Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology, or related health science field preferred.
• EPIC experience is highly preferred.
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct surveillance and investigation of infections.
• Implement and evaluate infection prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to promote safe practices.
• Educate staff on infection control measures.
• Analyze infection data and report findings.
