Registered Nurse (RN) - ER

**Title** Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Combined Adult/Pediatric **Schedule** Shift: Nights, 1900–0700 Weekend requirement: Every other weekend **Requirements** - Active RN license - 2 years of Emergency Department experience required - Trauma experience preferred - Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC - EPIC charting experience is required **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including adults and pediatrics. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practices. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Perform trauma assessment and interventions for trauma patients. - Monitor and manage patients in critical condition, including those requiring advanced cardiac support. - Educate patients and families regarding health concerns and treatment plans. **Compliance / Notes** - Orientation: 24 hours - Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility - Background checks are reviewed on a case-by-case basis - Return staff policy: 1 year
