Registered Nurse – Cardiac Telemetry

Schedule

Day shift: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts (06:45 - 19:15).

Assignment Details

Every other weekend required. Contract length and guaranteed hours may vary. No floating outside the unit/scope of practice required.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted.
• Must be compliant with all required credentials before start date.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for conditions including, but not limited to, chest pain, NSTEMI, STEMI, and atrial fibrillation.
• Perform left/right heart catheterizations, TEE, and stress tests.
• Administer cardioversions and manage pacemakers and AICD insertions.
• Monitor patients with chronic heart failure (CHF), bradycardia, and tachycardia.
• Document patient care and respond to emergencies as needed.

Compliance / Notes

Full compliance is required to start on time. Orientation hours are based on contract length. If not compliant in time, there may be a push back of 2 weeks due to orientation schedule.
