Registered Nurse – ICU

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour rotations (19:00 - 07:30). Minimum every other weekend required, with the possibility of exceeding based on unit needs. Must be available to work 3 out of 5 major holidays.

Assignment Details

This is a float position, and the clinician may be floated to different ICU floors or to lower acuity units, including a telemetry floor. The facility reserves the right to call off one shift per pay period.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required.
• Must hold ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications.
• Experience with Epic charting is preferred.
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are encouraged to apply.
• Must include RTO at time of submission.
• Pending licenses are not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a critical care environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and patients.
• Document patient care in compliance with facility policies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care plans.
