Registered Nurse – ICU

Schedule

Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Minimum requirement to work every other weekend, with the possibility of additional weekends to meet unit needs.

Assignment Details

This is a float position, and the clinician may be floated to different ICU floors or to lower acuity units, including a telemetry floor. Guaranteed hours may include call-offs once per two-week pay period.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience required.
• First-timers are accepted.
• Certifications required: ACLS, BCLS, NIH.
• Must be open to working 3 out of 5 major holidays.
• Scheduling requests due to outside employment will not be considered.
• No pending licenses accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a professional manner.
• Assess patient conditions and respond appropriately.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.
