Registered Nurse - Operating Room Circulator

Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our team. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of travel experience along with strong circulating skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform circulating duties for a variety of surgical procedures, including endoscopies, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, and podiatry.
• Provide intraoperative and postoperative care, including PACU responsibilities.
• Contribute to a safe and sterile environment for surgical procedures.
• Monitor patient status and vital signs during surgeries.
• Educate patients and families regarding surgical procedures and recovery.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of travel experience in an operating room setting.
• Experience in endoscopies, general surgery, orthopedics, urology, and podiatry is preferred.
• Must be willing to learn and acquire skills for PACU if not already experienced.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably Oracle/Cerner, is a plus.

This role will involve caring for patients ranging from ages 7 to 100.
