Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical experience. This role requires a dynamic individual who is comfortable with floating between the medical floor and surgical/oncology units. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to adapt to various patient care needs and collaborate effectively with a diverse healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the medical and surgical/oncology floors.
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6, ensuring safe and efficient care delivery.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) effectively, specifically Epic, to document patient information and care.
• Participate in patient assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
• Communicate with patients and their families regarding care plans and discharge instructions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg experience required.
• Previous travel nursing experience is essential.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Willingness and flexibility to float between departments as needed.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
