Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

An opportunity is available for a highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in trauma care to join our team. This position requires commitment to work on holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
• Manage acute trauma cases with appropriate assessment and intervention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a mentor and preceptor to junior nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of ER experience required.
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC are mandatory.
• NRP and ENPC certifications are preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically Epic is required.
• Experience as a charge nurse is preferred, along with preceptor capabilities.

Work Environment

This position is set within a dynamic emergency department that handles a variety of acute cases. Candidates must display flexibility and resilience while delivering compassionate patient care.
