Position Details Job Type: Permanent Specialty: Urgent Care Provider Type: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Location: Ooltewah, Tennessee Schedule: Full-time or part-time EMR: Electronic medical records; paperless office Schedule Full-Time: Up to 40 hours per week Part-Time: Flexible scheduling, including evening and weekend availability Work-Life Balance: Three- to four-day workweek and block scheduling options Call Requirements: No on-call responsibilities Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM Weekends: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Clinical Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries requiring urgent care. Assess and treat pediatric patients as young as 6 months, along with adolescent and adult patients. Perform annual, sports, school, and pre-employment physicals. Administer vaccinations. Interpret laboratory results and X-rays to support diagnosis and treatment. Perform minor procedures requiring local anesthesia. Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR. Provide efficient, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population. Practice Environment Outpatient urgent care setting with a diverse range of patient conditions. On-site CLIA-approved laboratory with moderately complex testing capabilities. On-site digital X-ray equipment. State-of-the-art clinical equipment and paperless documentation. Administrative, billing, collections, and office-management responsibilities handled by the practice. No on-call responsibilities or overnight shifts. Qualifications & Requirements Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant eligible to practice in Tennessee. Pediatric clinical experience is required. Emergency Department experience is preferred. Full-Time: Board certification or board eligibility, as applicable to the provider's discipline. Part-Time: Minimum of three years of clinical experience in Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine. Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Active DEA registration. Current DOT certification or willingness to obtain certification. CAQH registration. Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to high-quality patient care. Compensation & Benefits Hourly compensation of $55–$61. Monthly bonus opportunities, depending on the compensation plan. 401(k) with employer match.
