Permanent | Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner | Northshore, TN

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a permanent Urgent Care opportunity in Northshore, Tennessee. This position offers flexible scheduling, strong clinical support, and the opportunity to provide high-quality care in a busy outpatient urgent care setting. Providers will treat patients ranging from 6 months old through adulthood, with a focus on acute illnesses, physicals, diagnostic services, and minor procedures. Position Details Job Type: Permanent Specialty: Urgent Care Provider Type: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) Location: Northshore, Tennessee Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year EMR: Experity Schedule Flexible 3–4 day work week Block scheduling available Clinic Hours Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM Weekends: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Clinical Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries. Perform school, sports, annual, and pre-employment physicals. Administer vaccinations. Interpret X-rays and laboratory results. Perform minor procedures under local anesthesia. Provide episodic care and diagnostic services for patients from 6 months old through adulthood. Document patient encounters and treatment plans in the EMR. Collaborate with clinical staff to support efficient patient flow and quality care. Practice Environment Outpatient urgent care setting. On-site CLIA-approved laboratory and digital X-ray services. Additional provider support as patient volume increases. Clinical focus on acute care, physicals, diagnostics, and minor procedures. Qualifications & Requirements Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience. Board certification and applicable state licensure required for the provider's discipline. Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification. Active DEA registration. Current DOT certification or willingness to obtain. Civil Surgeon designation or willingness to obtain. CAQH registration. Must be eligible for credentialing with major payors.
