Operating Room/Perioperative Nursing - Registered Nurse

Schedule: 7:00AM - 5:00PM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $64 - $69/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a OR for a temporary assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a OR:

• Provide nursing care for patients during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative process
• Work in surgical suites utilizing advanced robotic and surgical technologies including Exactech, Mako, Stealth, and DaVinci systems
• Support a wide range of surgical specialties including General, Eyes, Ortho, Brain/Spine, OB-GYN, ENT, Neuro, Plastics, Urology, Peds, and Ortho/Spine Trauma
• Work 4 10-hour day shifts per week with rotating evening, night, and weekend call
• Participate in assigned call schedules including approximately 1 call weekend (Friday 1900-Monday 0700) and 4-5 weeknight call shifts (1900-0700) per 8-week scheduling period
• Maintain a current Colorado RN License or Compact RN License in good standing
• Maintain current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Maintain current ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related surgical field
• Maintain current Flu Vaccine as required seasonally with no exemptions
• Comply with all applicable facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
