Med-Surg/Telemetry Acute Care - Registered Nurse

Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Schedule: 7:00AM - 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $58 - $62/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:

• Provide the highest degree of quality nursing care to patients in an Acute Care/Med-Surg Adult setting
• Use specialized knowledge and expertise related to critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care utilizing the nursing process
• Work 12-hour day shifts including weekend rotation
• Participate in call rotation, taking 1 call shift per 2-week period as requested due to staffing needs
• Maintain a minimum of 2 years of Acute Care/Med-Surg/Telemetry or similar RN experience
• Maintain current RN License to work in Colorado
• Maintain current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Maintain current Flu Vaccine with no exemptions accepted
• Support care for patients related to increased Ortho surgeries, Hybrid Cath Lab procedures/surgeries, and acute/chronic illnesses
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
