Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Med Surg

**Title** LPN – Medical Surgical **Schedule** Shift: Nights, 7p–7a **Assignment Details** Contract Length: 13 weeks Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: Available every other holiday, if needed **Requirements** - Active LPN license - Minimum 1 year LPN experience - Acute care experience within the last 2 years - EPIC charting experience required - BLS certification **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide direct patient care, including IV starts/maintenance and peripheral & central line care. - Administer medications and monitor patients' vitals. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. - Assist with patient assessments and intake procedures. - Educate patients and families on health management and care plans. - Maintain documentation in electronic health records. **Compliance / Notes** - Candidates with more than 10 days of request time off (RTO) cannot be submitted. - Background checks will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. - Active NY LPN license in hand required to submit. - Scrub color: Navy blue and white combination allowed.
