Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in providing essential patient care. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic emergency room environment, assisting with various tasks to support patient wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance.
• Assist in passing meals and monitoring dietary needs.
• Support nursing staff by turning and positioning patients as needed.
• Perform routine patient checks and assist with minor medical procedures.
• Float between acute and swing bed units as required.

Shift Information

• Shift: Nights
• Length: 12 hours
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday

Qualifications

• CNA certification required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNA.
• Must be able to work flexibly across units.

Additional Information

This position does not involve any clinical work directly related to your certification beyond supportive care duties. Candidates must comply with the 50-mile radius rule and have not worked permanently or on a PRN basis within the last 12 months.

Dress Code

Scrub color is flexible; any color is acceptable.

Unit-specific orientation will be provided.
