Requirements

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification: Required
• At least two years recent experience in field
• Current nursing license per the state of assignment
• EPIC experience: Required

Responsibilities

• Provides personal nursing care to the patient under the direction of a licensed registered nurse (RN).
• Assists patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, feeding, nutrition, hydration, and elimination.
• Takes vital signs, including pulse and blood pressure.
• Performs various clerical duties, routing patient reports as appropriate.
• Uses organizational skills to ensure the unit runs smoothly.
• Reports patient status and concerns to the RN within the scope of practice.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
