About the Role: ComForCare Home Care - Contra Costa West is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/CNA to join their team in Orinda, CA. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients through attentive, one-on-one care during 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance
• Monitor and document client health status, reporting any changes to the care team
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure client safety
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to dietary needs and preferences
• Administer medication reminders and support medication management routines
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment
• Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being

Requirements:

• Active CNA certification or verifiable experience as a professional caregiver
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, or weekends as needed
• Experience with personal care, ADLs, and transfers in a home or facility setting
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a client-centered approach
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Must pass background check and provide verifiable references
