About the role

CNA – LONG-TERM CARE Requirements:

2+ years of Long-Term Care (LTC) CNA experience – Required.
Active Michigan CNA credentials.
AHA BLS certification – Required.
Michigan LTC fingerprinting completed is a plus!

Position Responsibilities:

Assist nursing staff with patient care and treatment under the direction of nursing leadership.
Support patients with daily care needs in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Provide patient- and family-centered care.
Maintain high standards of performance and contribute to a positive patient and family experience.
Work collaboratively with nurses and other healthcare team members.

Important Attendance Policy:

A strict three-strike attendance policy applies. Three absences or instances of arriving more than 20 minutes late may result in immediate termination. Qualifying circumstances, such as a communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting documentation, may be reviewed.

Certification Required:

BLS – American Heart Association (AHA).
