**Title** Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical **Schedule** Shift: 3x12 Nights Patient ratio: 1:6 **Assignment Details** Unit size: 36 beds/rooms Charting system: Epic **Requirements** - License: State or Compact license required - Certifications: BLS - Years of experience: 2 years preferred - EMR: Experience with Epic required - Unit-specific skills: - Telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation - Central/PICC/Peripheral line care and IV starts - Tracheostomy and airway support (HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP) - Post/pre cardiac cath/surgery and hemodialysis care - ABG interpretation and oxygen administration - Blood product administration and wound care/Wound VAC - Participation in Rapid Response/Code teams **Compliance / Notes** - Residency restriction: Cannot contract travelers residing in specific counties. - Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler. - RTO (requested time off) must be listed at time of submittal. - Onboarding: core items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing. - Orientation modules completed onsite (non-billable): RN ~4–6 hours.
