Registered Nurse – Intermediate Care

Schedule

Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 48 Weekly
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• Up to date resume including 2+ years of experience in IMCU/PCU.
• Skills Checklist matching specialty.
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications.
• NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License & ALL RN licenses.
• EMR experience required: EPIC.
• Local rates applicable for candidates residing within 75 miles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU).
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, especially in neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory cases.
• Assist with specialty equipment such as temporary pacers, chest tubes, and BiPAP.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float between units as required.
• Provide care for chronic vent patients unable to wean.
