Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

**Title:** Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical/IMCU **Schedule:** - Shift: 4x12 nights - Weekend: Every other weekend **Requirements:** - Licensure: NY RN license in hand - Certifications: BLS, NIHSS (include in submission), ACLS preferred - Experience: Minimum of 1 year clinical RN experience; preferred 2 years and/or prior charge experience - EMR: EPIC experience required - Skills: Telemetry monitoring, airway management, arterial line and central line care, titratable IV therapies, and BIPAP support **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Provide clinical nursing care to adult acute patients in an intermediate care setting. - Monitor and assess patient status continuously, including telemetry and vital signs. - Administer medications and manage IV infusions as ordered. - Support patients with respiratory needs, including BIPAP and airway management. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Adhere to isolation precautions and standard PPE practices. **Compliance / Notes:** - Orientation: 24 hours precepted - RTO: Cannot submit candidates with >10 days RTO - Background checks: Reviewed on a case-by-case basis
