Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

**PCU RN – Orthopedic Trauma** **Requirements:** - Minimum 2 years of RN experience - Level 1 trauma experience required - Experience with high-acuity orthopedic trauma and post-op orthopedic care - Required certifications: BLS, ACLS - Familiarity with EMR: EPIC - Charge RN experience preferred **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Provide nursing care to patients in a Progressive Care Unit focusing on orthopedic trauma. - Monitor and assess patient conditions and implement care plans. - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. - Assist with mobility and post-operative management. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. **Compliance / Notes:** - Weekend requirement: at least 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period - On-call requirements: 1–2 weekdays per week and 2 weekends per 13 weeks - Orientation: 12 hours - Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed for offers - Required training modules due prior to start date; completion of EPIC training module recommended.
