Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, 12x3 schedule.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• 3+ years of Progressive Care Unit experience
• 2 previous travel assignments required
• BLS, ACLS, & NIHSS certifications required
• Florida or Compact nursing license required
• Degree accreditation must be on profile or must have 5 years of PCU experience
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions and report any changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and healthcare needs.
• Participate in unit initiatives aimed at enhanced quality of care.
