Registered Nurse – Surgical Step-Down

Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• 2 years of PCU experience required
• Prior travel experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, & NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with EMR: Epic
• DEGREE ACCREDITATION required or 5 years of acute care experience

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to post-operative patients in a surgical step-down unit
• Monitor patient condition and communicate changes to the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assist with patient education and discharge planning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Floating required; travelers are first to float, possibly to other partner facilities. All RTO must be on submission; no approval for RTO after submission. Complete demographic information must be provided at the time of application. Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start.
