About the role
**Title:** RN – Progressive Care
**Schedule:**
- Shift: Nights, 3x12s — 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Weekend requirement: Some weekends (Every Other Week)
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 2 years RN experience required
- Previous PCU/stepdown or progressive care experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Charting system: EPIC experience required
**Roles & Responsibilities:**
- Provide nursing care to high-acuity patients in a progressive care setting.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs and health status.
- Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in rapid response and code team scenarios.
- Educate patients and families about care plans and health management.
**Compliance / Notes:**
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Flu vaccine: Required (medical exemptions only)
- Ohio fingerprinting: Urgent compliance required prior to start
