Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

**ROLE – SPECIALTY** **Schedule** - Shift: Weekdays and some weekends; rotating holidays - Weekend coverage required - Float required within units of equivalent or lower acuity **Requirements** - 2 years PCU experience required - BLS and ACLS certifications required - EPIC experience required - References: 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be a manager/director or formal supervisor **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatrics in a PCU setting - Manage patients with a variety of diagnoses, including renal, hepatology, cardiology, and pulmonology - Administer cardiac drips and manage heparin and insulin protocols - Recognize and manage dysrhythmias - Initiate pressors and manage high-flow oxygen therapies - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care **Compliance / Notes** - Strict credentialing deadline with compliance due by the Tuesday prior to start - Candidates must complete fingerprints ASAP after booking - RTO required with submission and must be built into contract - Education: ACEN or CCNE accredited program required - Former employees eligible after 6+ months away; current employees ineligible for traveler status
