About the role
**Title**
Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit
**Schedule**
3x12-hour shifts (36 hrs/week), Day or Night (rotating)
**Requirements**
- Minimum 2 years PCU nursing experience
- Cardiac experience preferred (electrophysiology focus and general cardiology)
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
- EPIC charting experience required
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Provide nursing care to patients in a progressive care unit with a focus on cardiac conditions.
- Monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and manage patient care related to cardiac issues.
- Administer medications and perform conscious sedation as necessary.
- Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
**Compliance / Notes**
- Orientation: 36 hours
- COVID-19 vaccine not required; Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
