Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

**TITLE** Registered Nurse - Medical Oncology Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit **SCHEDULE** Shift: 12-hour rotating Days/Nights **REQUIREMENTS** - Current and consistent acute care experience within the last 12 months - High-acuity PCU experience required - Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred - BLS (BCLS) certification - ACLS certification - NIHSS certification - Proven telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation skills - Ability to manage central lines, IV starts, and blood product administration - Experience with PCA and chest tube management preferred **ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES** - Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a progressive care setting. - Monitor and interpret telemetry data and manage complex patient needs. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes. - Administer medications and treatments as per established protocols. - Educate patients and families regarding care processes and health management strategies. - Ensure compliance with safety and infection prevention standards. **COMPLIANCE / NOTES** - Orientation: 72 hours; one pre-approved day off allowed - Fingerprinting required urgently after booking
