Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

**TITLE:** Registered Nurse – Stepdown / PCU **SCHEDULE:** - Shifts: Days and Nights (4:1 patient ratio on Days, Nights, and Weekends) - Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (Day weekends = Sat/Sun; Night weekends = Fri/Sat) **ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:** - Orientation: 36 hours **REQUIREMENTS:** - Minimum 2 years recent RN experience - Progressive care / Stepdown / PCU experience preferred - Required: BLS, ACLS - Ohio state or compact license in hand at time of submission - Experience with telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, peripheral line care, oxygen administration **ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:** - Monitor and manage patients in a stepdown/PCU setting. - Interpret telemetry data and respond to dysrhythmias. - Provide care for adult and geriatric patients with general chronic medical conditions. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. - Implement isolation precautions and adhere to safety protocols. **COMPLIANCE / NOTES:** - Orientation includes a strict compliance deadline for Ohio fingerprinting. - Two professional references required; at least one must be from a manager/director. - RTO required with submission (must be built into contract). - Travelers outside Ohio may need to fulfill additional fingerprinting requirements.
