Registered Nurse - PCU
**Schedule**
Night 12x3
**Assignment Details**
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Weekly
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
**Requirements**
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar-sized facility.
- Experience with cardiac drips (Milrinone, Dobutamine, Pressors).
- Proficient in EPIC EMR.
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with a focus on a cardiac population.
- Monitor and manage patients with cardiac conditions, including STEMI, NSTEMI, and related complications.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Float to all PCU/IMCU floors as needed, adapting to different patient acuities and care requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress in the electronic medical record.
