Progressive Care Unit RN assignment at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, GA. Night 3x12-hour schedule caring for adult cardiac stepdown patients in a 32-bed unit with 1:3-4 nurse-to-patient ratios. Provides care for post-operative cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and complex medical patients using Epic documentation, Pyxis, and SBAR. Patients are admitted from CICU, MSICU, ED, and acute care units. Floats within facility as needed. Every other weekend required; no call.
