Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

**Title:** Registered Nurse – Cardiac **Schedule:** Day 12x3 **Assignment Details:** - Contract Length: 13 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week **Requirements:** - Minimum of 2 years of documented experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) in a similar sized facility. - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Provide nursing care to patients in a cardiac population, including those with STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain. - Administer medications, including cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and pressors. - Monitor telemetry beds with lower acuity levels as needed. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. - Document patient progress and report any changes in condition according to facility protocol. **Compliance / Notes:** - Compliance with background checks and drug screening may be required. - Orientation and training details to be provided prior to assignment.
