Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

**Title** Registered Nurse – Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) **Schedule** Nights, 3x12 (7:00 pm–7:00 am) **Assignment Details** Contract: 13-week contract available **Requirements** - Minimum 2 years of RN experience - Traveler experience: Required - ICU experience: Required - Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS **Roles & Responsibilities** - Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring to patients recovering from various surgical procedures. - Conduct thorough assessments and monitor vital signs of patients in the Phase I/II recovery setting. - Administer medications and manage intravenous lines as necessary. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care and safety. - Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery expectations. - Support up-triaging patients to ICU if necessary based on assessment findings. **Compliance / Notes** - RTO (Request Time Off): Up to 7 days maximum, auto-approved up to 7 days; no holidays. - Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. - All RTO must be pre-approved. - COVID-19 vaccine is not required; Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only). - Pre-start modules are required (approximately 8–10 hours for acute care).
