**Title** Operating Room Surgical Technologist **Schedule** - Night Shift: 18:30 – 07:00 - Weekend Requirement: As needed; 3 weekend shifts per 13 weeks **Assignment Details** - Contract Length: Not specified - Guaranteed Hours: Not specified **Requirements** - Minimum of 3 years of surgical technologist experience required - Experience in Neurosurgery and/or Orthopedics required - Proficient in DaVinci Xi robotic systems - Experience in Trauma at a Level I facility preferred - Certifications: BLS (BCLS), NIHSS - Experience with EPIC charting preferred - Required clinical experience areas: Neurosurgery, Spine, Complex Orthopedics/Orthopedic Spine, Complex General Surgery (including Bariatric) - Preferred experience: ENT, GU, Plastics, Burns **Roles & Responsibilities** - Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room - Assist with instrumentation and equipment setup for surgical procedures - Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and efficient workflows - Maintain awareness of the surgical procedure, anticipating the needs of the surgeon - Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines **Compliance / Notes** - Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions allowed - Strict fingerprinting and credentialing timeline - Documentation due by Tuesday prior to start - References required: 2 professional references, including one from a manager/director or formal supervisor - Must remove all jewelry and arm bands from upper extremities prior to scrubbing
