**Title**
Registered Nurse – Oncology
**Schedule**
Nights - 12HR: 7P-7A / 7A-7P rotation. 36 and 48 hours per week available. One weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least one holiday per contract.
**Assignment Details**
Contract Duration: 16 weeks
**Requirements**
- Active NY RN license
- AHA BLS certification
- 1 year recent experience in acute med-surg/tele and oncology
- 2 years of U.S. work experience required for non-U.S. candidates
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the oncology unit.
- Monitor and assess patient health status and respond to patient needs.
- Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and care provided.
**Compliance / Notes**
- Must be flexible according to the needs of the facility's schedule.
- Required to float to other units if needed.
