**Title**
Registered Nurse – Medical Oncology
**Schedule**
Work 4-10 hour shifts a week, starting at 7:30 AM each day. No call and no weekends.
**Assignment Details**
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 38 hours per week
**Requirements**
- Colorado RN license or compact license in good standing
- BLS (AHA Provider) certification
- Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card
- Minimum of two years oncology experience
**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Provide patient assessments, care plans, and education specific to oncology.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
- Document all patient interactions and changes in condition accurately.
- Support patients and families emotionally and provide guidance on coping strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the oncology department.
