Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology

**Title:** Oncology Nurse **Schedule:** - Shift: 8/12-hour shifts - Days: 2 shifts of 8 hours and 2 shifts of 12 hours with every other weekend required **Assignment Details:** - Contract Length: 26 weeks - Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly **Requirements:** - MA RN license required at time of submission - 2+ years of experience in Hematology/Oncology - Chemo and immunotherapy certification required - BLS certification from AHA required **Roles & Responsibilities:** - Coordinate care for patients undergoing hematology treatment - Manage patient inquiries and provide medication renewals - Process FMLA paperwork and other administrative tasks - Obtain authorizations for PET scans - Conduct triage activities **Compliance / Notes:** - BILH coversheet required at time of submission - Must have experience with hematology care and coordinating care - No local travelers accepted (must reside more than 50 miles from the facility) - All requests for time off (RTO) must be presented at time of submission - Travelers who have worked for the facility within the last year will not be accepted - Parking may be expensive; public transportation is available
